Rotary Wash Drilling

Geo-Ex performs rotary wash projects weekly. We have designed simple systems that enable us to switch from auger to rotary wash in a matter of minutes. Our approach is to keep diameters down to a minimum for faster production, less water usage, less drum usage, and overall cleanliness. Many of our projects are performed in traffic control with restricted hours. Our efficient systems allow for more production, faster clean up, which results in a clean and safe operation for our field personnel and clients.

Geo-Ex can haul and dispose of drums on our geotechnical projects. In most cases, all the drums used on a project can be hauled away the same day. Once tested, all drums are disposed of at the appropriate facility. A manifest can be provided to our clients when testing and disposal has been completed.

Geo-Ex has both HQ and PQ Wireline Casing Advance Systems. The casing is drilled down with a bit locked into the bottom. Once the target depth is reached, a wireline retrieval tool can be used to extract the bit. Once the bit is extracted, SPT, Mod Cal, Shelby Tubes, or Piston Samplers can be used in a cased hole.
